Grow it here, eat it here.
We would like to grow some of the easiest vegetables and we took into account these that can be planted throughout the year; As is the case with spinach, lettuce, cucumber, and carrots that can also provide great health benefits, also, growing our own garden can help us eat healthier and spend less money.
Speaking of the two models, it can be said that Hydroponics and aeroponics are two methods to grow plants without using substrate. Both are based on the fact that the soil is not a necessity in itself, but the environment where plants find the nutrients they need for their development.
For us the aeroponia method is much better, we will talk about it and its advantages
Aeroponics is the cultivation of plants in the air, the plant grows in a closed environment, and provides nutrients by spraying the roots with a nutrient-rich solution. For this, pressure pumps are used that spray the nutrient solution as a fine mist inside the cultivation space.
In aeroponics, the roots grow suspended in the air, and this helps the plant absorb oxygen more easily. In the opinion of the experts, the aeration factor contributes to adequate growth and produces better results.
Regarding plant health:
- The aerial method is carried out in a closed environment where the chances of plants coming into contact with foreign particles and pathogens are minimal.
- Both the aeroponic and hydroponic systems are beneficial systems, as they do not promote the use of chemical fertilizers and pesticides. Although aeroponics uses less water and makes better use of the supply of nutrients than hydroponics, which gives it a certain advantage in the ecological sense
- It adds the advantage of being able to examine the roots of developing plants, and becomes a valuable research tool.
- Due to the possibility of controlling the quantity of water supplied and the humidity levels in the roots, aeroponics is the most suitable experimental technique for studying the resistance of plants to water stress.
